Role Overview
Manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
The role covers UAE accounting, VAT, Tally, financial reporting, AP/AR, payroll, and audit coordination.
Construction or contracting industry experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and other financial reports.
- Manage the general ledger, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
- Calculate and process payroll, including salaries, overtime, allowances, leave salary, and related payments.
- Prepare UAE VAT filings and assist with corporate tax requirements and documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain accurate accounting, payroll, tax, and financial records.
- Supervise junior accounting staff and coordinate with management, suppliers, site teams, and internal departments.
- Support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, process improvements, and other accounting duties.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant accounting or finance experience in construction or contracting is required.
- Practical payroll preparation experience and hands-on Tally experience are required.
- UAE work experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, VAT, corporate tax, taxation, statutory compliance, payroll, and internal controls.
- Experience with AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliation, financial reporting, and audit coordination.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple activities accurately, and meet deadlines.
Pay
- Compensation is AED 3,000 to AED 4,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is in person in Umm al-Quwain City.
- Reliable commuting or relocation to Umm al-Quwain City before starting is preferred.
