Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong background in the Trading Industry, specifically handling Inventory, Import, and Export accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Handle inventory accounting, stock valuation, inventory reconciliation, and cost control procedures.
- Monitor import and export transactions, including LC documentation, shipping documents, customs-related accounting, and supplier payments.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure accurate recording of purchase orders, sales invoices, freight charges, duties, and landed costs.
- Reconcile inventory movement with warehouse and logistics records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and banks regarding trade transactions.
- Manage VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE accounting and tax regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Maintain proper documentation and support during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Senior Accountant in the Trading, Import & Export industry.
- Strong experience in inventory accounting and stock management.
- Knowledge of import/export documentation, LC procedures, shipping terms, and customs processes.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, Zoho, or similar systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team management abilities.
- UAE experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling multi-warehouse inventory.
- Knowledge of landed cost calculation and supply chain accounting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CMA, ACCA is an advantage.
- Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
