Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum 5 8 years of experience in operations management
- At least 3 years of experience in a driving school, transportation, fleet management, or training environment
- Experience managing large vehicle fleets and instructor teams
- UAE driving school or transportation industry experience is highly preferred
- Knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and RTA procedures
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling/operations management software

Role Overview
- The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the driving school, ensuring efficient management of the vehicle fleet, driving instructors, training schedules, and customer service standards.
- The role focuses on maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, instructor performance, and maximizing training efficiency while delivering a high quality learning experience to students.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Manage the overall daily operations of the driving school; develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices; monitor operational performance and ensure achievement of business objectives; ensure compliance with UAE traffic regulations and driving scho
- Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance, servicing, insurance, registration, and licensing of all training vehicles; monitor vehicle utilization and ensure maximum fleet availability; coordinate repairs, preventive maintenance, and breakdown assistance; maintain accurate fleet records and document
- Driving Instructor Management: Recruit, onboard, and train qualified driving instructors; schedule instructors based on student demand and operational requirements; monitor instructor attendance, punctuality, and performance; conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions; ensure inst
- Recruitment & Training: Manage recruitment activities for instructors and operational staff; conduct induction programs and continuous professional development training; identify skill gaps and implement training initiatives to improve service quality; ensure all staff receive regular updates on roa
- Scheduling & Resource Planning: Prepare and manage instructor duty rosters and student training schedules; optimize vehicle allocation and instructor utilization; coordinate theory and practical training sessions; resolve scheduling conflicts and accommodate urgent operational requirements.
- Customer Service: Ensure students receive timely and professional support throughout their training; handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues efficiently; monitor customer satisfaction and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with RTA and other relevant regulatory requirements; maintain safety standards for vehicles, instructors, and students; conduct regular operational audits and safety inspections; monitor accident reports and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting & Administration: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports; monitor KPIs including instructor productivity, fleet utilization, student completion rates, and customer satisfaction; manage operational budgets and control departmental expenses; coordinate with HR, Finance, Admin
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Operations or Fleet Management are an advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in operations management.
- At least 3 years of experience in a driving school, transportation, fleet management, or training environment.
- Experience managing large vehicle fleets and instructor teams.
- UAE driving school or transportation industry experience is highly preferred.
