Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly financial and management reports
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision making
- Perform monthly and annual closing activities in a timely manner
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts
- Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
- Process and maintain accounting records using the Yardi system
Requirements
- Experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
- Proficiency in Yardi system
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with month end and year end closing

Overview
- We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.
- The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day to day accounting operations, preparing accurate financial reports, maintaining monthly and yearly closing activities, and overseeing accounts receivable functions.
- The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies while supporting the organization's financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate monthly financial and management reports.

- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and reports.
- Perform monthly and annual closing activities in a timely manner.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.
- Manage the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances.
- Ensure customer accounts are accurately maintained and payments are properly allocated.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting transactions are recorded accurately.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
