We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our shared Finance team , supporting both Canadian and U.S. business operations.

In this role, you’ll be a key partner in driving accurate financial reporting, improving processes, and enabling better decision-making across the organization.

• General Accounting : Manage and oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. Monitor cash flow, prepare weekly AR reviews, and process vendor payments.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance : Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct P&L reviews, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Month-End Close : Lead the month-end closing process, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and ensure accurate financial records.
• Payroll Management : Process semi-monthly payroll, remit payroll taxes, and collaborate with the People & Culture team on payroll updates.
• Budgeting & Forecasting : Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Audit & Tax Compliance : Prepare working papers for audits, manage tax filings, and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Process Improvement & Coaching : Assess internal controls, recommend improvements, and mentor junior accounting staff.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred).
