About the Role
iMaker Group seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with Saudi regulations. The role includes managing AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, financial statements, tax compliance, and month-end closing.

Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, cash reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow statements
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and customer account follow ups
- Lead month end and year end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliation processes
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support financial planning and business decision making
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records, ensuring complete supporting documentation
- Support payroll accounting, employee reimbursements, accruals, and provisions
- Utilize ERP/accounting systems effectively and support continuous improvement of finance processes
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Arabian tax regulations, including VAT filings, WHT, and ZATCA requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities as required
- Support the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and identify opportunities for process automation
- Assist management with financial analysis, reporting requirements, and ad hoc finance related tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 15 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia
- Hands on experience with ERP/accounting systems; Xero experience highly preferred
- Strong experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month end/year end closing
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting practices, financial regulations, and compliance requirements
- Experience with VAT filing, Withholding Tax (WHT), and ZATCA compliance is mandatory
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Professional certification is an advantage
