Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise installation of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, piping, and equipment
- Ensure all works are completed as per approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications
- Monitor daily activities and ensure progress meets project timelines
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities
- Review mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals
- Conduct site inspections and verify work quality
- Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with site safety rules and HSE procedures
- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports
- Support BIM coordination to reduce clashes and rework
Requirements
- 6 12 years of experience in mechanical site engineering
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting systems
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA)
- Ability to coordinate with subcontractors and project teams
