This role is a hybrid position with the expectation to work onsite (3) three days a week in the Ericsson office located in either Boise, Idaho or Plano, Texas and relocation is not offered for this position.

About this opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst / Senior Accountant to join our team in the US. In this role, you will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while delivering analytical insights that enhance the accuracy of financial reporting and business decision-making. This position blends accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, balance sheet management, process improvement, and operational reporting, in close collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Sales, and external auditors.
What you will do:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close.
- Analyze financial results and investigate fluctuations between actuals, forecasts, and prior periods; prepare management reporting packages highlighting key trends.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of revenue, cost of sales, operating expenses, inventory, and balance sheet accounts.
- Develop and maintain financial models, trend analyses, and dataset reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain complex balance sheet reconciliations; partner with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Support cash flow analysis, working capital reporting, and profitability/margin analyses.
- Assist with internal and external audits; ensure compliance with SOX controls, company policies, and accounting standards.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and develop standardized dashboards to improve reporting efficiency.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 3–7 years of progressive experience.
- Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting principles.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas); experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics 365.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate large datasets into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience supporting audits and SOX-compliant environments (preferred).
- CPA, CMA, or active progress toward certification (preferred).
- Knowledge of revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and cost accounting processes (preferred).

Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan
- Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
