About the Role

  • We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the pre opening and ongoing operations of a premium wellness, fitness, and food & beverage business.
  • This role is responsible for managing the company’s accounting function while supporting procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
  • The successful candidate will establish strong financial controls, ensure accurate reporting, and help build efficient operational processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance

  • Manage the full accounting cycle.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Maintain the general ledger and financial records.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Monitor cash flow and budgets.
  • Process payroll, WPS, leave provisions, and end of service benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external consultants.

Key Responsibilities Procurement & Cost Control

  • Source and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
  • Issue purchase orders and monitor purchasing activities.
  • Maintain supplier relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
  • Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders.
  • Track food cost, inventory variance, and operating expenses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities Business Support

  • Support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Develop internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Assist with pre opening purchasing and operational setup.
  • Prepare financial analysis and management reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with procurement and supplier management.
  • Experience with inventory control and cost management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
