- Manage the full accounting cycle
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
- Maintain the general ledger and financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash flow and budgets
- Process payroll, WPS, leave provisions, and end of service benefits
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants
- Source and negotiate with suppliers
- Issue purchase orders and monitor purchasing activities
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, payroll, and financial reporting
- Experience with procurement and supplier management
- Experience with inventory control and cost management
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Hospitality, restaurants, fitness, or luxury lifestyle experience preferred
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the pre opening and ongoing operations of a premium wellness, fitness, and food & beverage business.
- This role is responsible for managing the company’s accounting function while supporting procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and cost optimization.
- The successful candidate will establish strong financial controls, ensure accurate reporting, and help build efficient operational processes from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance
- Manage the full accounting cycle.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and financial records.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and budgets.
- Process payroll, WPS, leave provisions, and end of service benefits.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities Procurement & Cost Control
- Source and negotiate with suppliers.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations.
- Issue purchase orders and monitor purchasing activities.
- Maintain supplier relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock movements.
- Reconcile supplier invoices with purchase orders.
- Track food cost, inventory variance, and operating expenses.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities Business Support
- Support budgeting and forecasting.
- Develop internal controls and financial procedures.
- Assist with pre opening purchasing and operational setup.
- Prepare financial analysis and management reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, WPS, payroll, and financial reporting.
