About the Role

Responsibilities
- Be the Onboarding Specialist, obtaining information from other teams/clients
- Provide bookkeeping for Tier 2 Clients
- Review, test and reconcile work and data from accountants for Tier 1 Clients
- Ensure appropriate controls, policies and processes are adhered to
- Coordinate reviews, billing and other internal controls
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and auditors
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with client engagement letters
- Assist with coordination and preparation of monthly and annual trackers
Requirements
- Completed Accountancy degree
- At least 4 years relevant experience from sizable CPA firm or multinational company
- Sound knowledge of IFRS and key updates
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Good command of written and spoken English

General Information

- The Accounting and Tax Senior collaborates with a team of Accountants in UAE and Mauritius.
- Responsibilities include being the Onboarding Specialist and providing bookkeeping for Tier 2 Clients while assuring quality for Tier 1 2 Clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and client relationship.
- Be responsible for delivery of work with right quality and timeliness for Tier 1 2 Clients.
- Provide training and guidance to team members.
- Be the Onboarding Specialist, obtaining information from other teams/Client.
- Ensure appropriate controls, policies and processes are adhered to.
- Identify areas for improvement in policies, processes, procedures and systems.
- Implement changes to procedures, guidelines when applicable.
- Coordinate reviews, billing and other internal controls.
- Collaborate and share knowledge across service lines and other TMF offices.
- Support implementation and updating of systems.
- Escalate technical issues and knowledge gaps where required.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with clients and auditors.
Qualifications
- Completed Accountancy degree.
- At least 4 years relevant experience from sizable CPA firm or multinational company; tax experience in major international professional firms is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge of international accounting practices (IFRS) and key updates.
- Self motivated, well organized and strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude.
- Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Focus, QuickBooks, Zoho, SAP and other key accounting software is a differential.
- Good command of written and spoken English; Arabic will be an advantage.
- Reliable, self motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
