Responsibilities
- Act as Onboarding Specialist for new clients, ensuring quality and turnaround time
- Provide bookkeeping for Tier 2 Clients and quality assurance for Tier 1 2 financial reports and tax returns
- Train and guide team members on task performance
- Ensure compliance with controls, policies, and processes
- Coordinate reviews, billing, and internal controls
- Build and maintain client and auditor relationships

- Experience in accounting and tax, with knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations

Role Overview
- The Accounting and Tax Senior collaborates with a team of Accountants in the UAE and Mauritius offices.
- Responsibilities include being the Onboarding Specialist, providing bookkeeping for Tier 2 Clients, and quality assurance for Tier 1 2 Clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the importance of revenue, productivity, chargeability and client relationship.
- Be responsible for delivery of work with quality and timeliness for Tier 1 2 Clients.
- Provide training and guidance to team members focusing on task performance.
- Be the Onboarding Specialist, obtaining information from other teams/clients.
- Ensure appropriate controls, policies and processes are adhered to.
- Identify areas for improvement in policies, processes, procedures and systems.
- Implement changes to procedures, guidelines when applicable.
- Coordinate reviews, billing and other internal controls.
- Collaborate and share knowledge/expertise across service lines and other TMF offices.
- Support implementation and updating of systems.
- Escalate technical issues and knowledge gaps where required.
- Build, develop and maintain relationships with clients and auditors.
