Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong background in Big 4 firms (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte).
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with solid experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance with IFRS standards.
This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in taxation within the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS
- Manage group consolidations and ensure accuracy across multiple entities
- Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing
- Ensure compliance with VAT and Corporate Tax regulations in the UAE
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Maintain proper documentation and internal controls across accounting functions
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA or equivalent)
- 4–5 years of relevant experience
- Recent experience within a Big 4 firm (EY, PwC, KPMG, or Deloitte) is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial consolidation
- Practical experience in VAT and Corporate Tax (CT) is essential
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
