About the Role
Dr Scent SA in Riyadh seeks a Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accuracy of financial records, compliance, and timely financial reporting. - Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
- Analyze financial data for discrepancies and trends to inform management decisions.
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, subsidiary accounts, and monthly account reconciliations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare documentation for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and cost analysis.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, delegate responsibilities.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, cash flow, and other day to day accounting operations.
- Recommend ways to reduce costs, enhance revenue, and improve internal financial processes.
- Work with other departments to ensure financial processes align with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 4–6 years of senior accounting role
- Prior experience multi branch operation is highly preferred
- Proficiency of accounting, financial reporting, VAT, and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software / ERP systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; strong working knowledge of Word
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Ability to supervise staff, manage deadlines, and work under pressure
- Arabic speaking required

Role Overview
