Role Overview
Bizedge is seeking an experienced and organized Senior Accountant to join its team in Dubai.
The role requires accounting consultancy experience and independent management of client files and accounting assignments.
The accountant will deal directly with clients and take ownership with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Manage a large portfolio of client files and accounting assignments.
- Handle accounting and bookkeeping for multiple clients.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, reconciliations, and accounting records.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and assist with VAT returns and applicable compliance activities.
- Conduct independent client meetings and address accounting queries.
- Maintain client relationships and identify discrepancies in client accounts.
- Manage multiple assignments, maintain documentation, and coordinate with internal team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of accounting consultancy experience in India, or at least 2 years in Dubai.
- Experience managing multiple clients and a high volume of files is required.
