Accounting Operations
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Supervise and review accounting entries prepared by the accounts team.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, purchases, and expenses.
- Monitor supplier balances, payments, and outstanding invoices.
- Manage petty cash and daily cash transactions.
Reporting and Reconciliations
- Prepare and review daily, monthly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform bank, cash, credit card, and supplier reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor inventory-related accounting and reconcile stock values where required.
VAT and Compliance
- Prepare and review VAT calculations and VAT returns in accordance with UAE requirements.
- Ensure proper documentation and accurate filing of accounting records.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate with auditors, suppliers, banks, and management.
- Support management with financial analysis and accounting-related decisions.
