Overview of the Role

Team Leadership

• Lead external and internal consultants, contractors, and commercial staff.
• Implement strategies, delegate tasks, provide training, and coach team members to achieve project goals.

Project Delivery Quality

• Ensure projects meet defined quality standards and achieve completion certification.
• Continuously review and monitor project quality against required standards.

Project Delivery Progress

• Ensure project progress remains within the required timeframe and keep team members informed.
• Monitor progress and obtain actions from the project team to meet programme targets.

Project Delivery Cost

• Maintain project costs within defined viability limits.
• Submit project cost reports on time and support delivery within or below budget.

Value Engineering

• Inform the project team about value-added and buildability options.
• Conduct regular value engineering exercises to maintain engineered solutions within cost parameters.

People and Documentation

• Ensure the project team is adequately staffed with competent site personnel.
• Direct works, provide on-the-job training to engineers, and maintain project and completion documentation.

Construction Participants

• Evaluate and participate in selecting suitable construction participants, including suppliers and contractors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Project management proficiency with major project experience.
• Excellent communication skills in a multinational setting.
• Proactive approach and strong problem-solving abilities.
• 15–20 years of construction experience with a project management background.
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in a multinational environment.
• University degree in Civil Engineering and Building.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel, and MS Project.
