Role overview
Lead hotel security operations at Mama Shelter Dubai and help protect guests, colleagues, property, and restricted areas.
Provide security leadership while supporting a safe, welcoming, and well-run hotel environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, guide, and motivate the security team and lead shift briefings and debriefings.
- Conduct hotel patrols, inspections, and access-control checks to identify and address risks.
- Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms, and other security systems and respond to suspicious activity.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, fire evacuations, drills, and crisis situations.
- Investigate theft, damage, unauthorized access, and other security incidents and prepare reports.
- Coordinate with hotel departments during daily operations, events, and busy periods.
- Liaise with SIRA, law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when required.
- Maintain radios, CCTV, alarms, access-control equipment, flashlights, and other security tools.
- Maintain accurate security logs and report incidents, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities to management.

- Natural leader who can give clear direction and bring out the best in the security team.
- Calm, decisive, and able to think quickly during emergencies and unexpected situations.
- Attentive to detail and proactive in identifying potential risks.
- Confident communicator with colleagues, guests, management, authorities, and emergency services.
- Responsible with sensitive information and committed to integrity.
- Reliable, consistent, approachable, energetic, and collaborative.
