Position Summary
The Security Officer acts as the operational lead at the client site and bridges field operations with client expectations.
The role implements security procedures, supervises guard personnel, coordinates with clients, and ensures security and safety standards are met.
The position reports to the Site In-charge, Assignment Manager, or Branch Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead site security operations and ensure guards follow post duties, site instructions, standard operating procedures, and company protocols.
- Supervise Security Supervisors and Guards, including deployment, performance, attendance, discipline, muster, uniform checks, and tool checks.
- Coordinate with the client, conduct meetings, resolve concerns, and maintain service quality.
- Oversee access control, patrolling, visitor management, asset protection, material movement, vehicle access, and contractor or staff entry.
- Monitor surveillance systems and CCTV footage with client security teams.
- Respond to theft, fire, medical emergencies, safety violations, and other incidents, including evacuation coordination.
- Maintain shift logs, occurrence reports, visitor data, material movement records, performance summaries, manpower reports, and statutory registers.
- Conduct training and drills, enforce grooming and discipline standards, and support audits, inspections, and client reviews.
