Security Operations Specialist

Associate degree/equivalent or several years of equivalent work experience in security operations, safety or logistics project management. ​​

Knowledge of concepts and terminology regarding security operations, business continuity, safety, fleet management, and facilities operations.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

​Demonstrated ability to change priorities without losing productivity and meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy.

​Strong user skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and other Microsoft applications.

​Skill in composing routine correspondence and communicating verbally.

​Knowledge of and ability to learn computerized security software and asset management principles.

​Demonstrated ability to remain poised and courteous in busy environment.

Associate degree/equivalent or several years of equivalent work experience.

This position requires incumbents to drive for Virginia Housing business purposes. Therefore, incumbents must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to the standards outlined in the motor vehicle-related administrative regulations and Human Resources policies as a condition of continued employment.

Preferably 5+ years in security operations, safety or logistics project management.
