Security Operations Analyst, Managed Security Services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or three-year diploma in engineering, computer science, or a technology-related field, or four years of IT experience including one year supporting IT or systems.
• One to three years of firewall administration experience, including Palo Alto and Check Point.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and information systems design.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with common word processing, spreadsheet, diagram, presentation, and email applications.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and products.

Preferred Qualifications

• Beginner-level managed security services certification is a plus, including CCSA, CCNA-Security, Palo Alto ACE, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-200, AZ-900, AZ-500, or similar.
• Call handling or ticket experience is a plus.

Schedule

• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime to provide coverage for a 24-hour, seven-day managed services operation.
