Role Overview
Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors and assets.
The role requires calm judgment, organization, attention to detail and effective incident response.
Responsibilities
- Patrol designated areas, secure access points and monitor entry and departure of personnel.
- Respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, prepare incident reports and maintain activity logs.
- Operate surveillance equipment and perform access control and security screening.
- Provide escorts, vehicle transport or personal protection when necessary.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and security personnel and follow health, safety and environmental policies.
- Provide professional customer service and remain current on Qatar security regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Qatar-recognized security guard license and current First Aid and CPR certification.
- At least 2–3 years of professional security operations experience.
- Physical fitness, surveillance knowledge, emergency response ability and conflict de-escalation skills.
- Report writing, basic computer skills, English fluency and knowledge of Qatar security laws.
- Arabic knowledge is preferred.
Schedule
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Workplace
- The role is based at the resort in Lusail, Qatar and involves on-premises security duties.
