Property Overview
Rixos Premium Qetaifan Island North is a luxury resort on Qetaifan Island near Lusail, Doha.
The resort operates under the Accor umbrella and combines hospitality, leisure, and entertainment facilities.
Role Overview
The Security Officer will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
The role requires vigilance, organization, calm decision-making, and effective collaboration.
Security Operations
- Patrol designated areas and secure doors, windows, gates, and other access points.
- Monitor and authorize entry and departure of employees, visitors, and other personnel.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Operate surveillance cameras and other security equipment.
- Perform access control and screen personnel and vehicles.
Response and Reporting
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs.
- Escort or drive vehicles to transport individuals and provide personal protection when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and security personnel when required.
- Stay current with security protocols, industry practices, and Qatar-specific regulations.
Safety and Service
- Follow company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Address employee and visitor enquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
- A valid security guard license recognized in Qatar is required.
- At least 2–3 years of professional security operations experience is required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is required.
- Candidates need physical fitness, surveillance skills, emergency response knowledge, conflict resolution ability, and sound judgment under pressure.
- English fluency is required; Arabic knowledge is preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
