Role Overview
The Security Guard protects the facility, people, inventory, vehicles, and operating areas.
The role includes access control, activity monitoring, patrols, incident response, accurate reporting, and rotating shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Control entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Verify authorizations, maintain gate and visitor logs, and apply site access procedures.
- Patrol warehouses, loading areas, external yards, and restricted locations.
- Monitor CCTV and report suspicious activity, hazards, damage, or policy violations.
- Support emergency, evacuation, fire-safety, and incident-response procedures.
- Maintain shift handovers and written incident reports.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and management without disrupting site activity.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school certificate or equivalent is required.
- Previous security experience in a warehouse, industrial facility, logistics yard, or similar site is preferred.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- Good observation, communication, reporting, and conflict-management skills are required.
- Basic knowledge of emergency, fire-safety, and access-control procedures is required.
- Good conduct, reliability, physical readiness, and professional Arabic communication are required.
