Job Introduction

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, investigate, and escalate alerts from SIEM, EDR, cloud, network, and identity sources.
• Assist with alert tuning, detection rules, MITRE ATT&CK use cases, SOAR playbooks, and AI-assisted security workflows.
• Support SOC metrics, incident response, evidence gathering, containment, documentation, and shift handoffs.
• Operate security tools and access controls, run vulnerability scans, and coordinate remediation.
• Help maintain compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, and other security requirements.
• Stay current on emerging threats, detection methods, and AI-driven security technologies.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of cybersecurity, information security, or related technical experience.
• Ability to work rotating 24x7 SOC shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, endpoint protection, or similar security tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and basic cloud security practices.
• Understanding of networking, authentication, and access control principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or exposure to detection engineering, SOAR automation, or AI-assisted security workflows is a plus.
• Basic Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting experience is preferred.
• Security+, GSEC, BTL1, or another entry-level certification is a plus.

Schedule

• The role operates in a 24x7 Security Operations Center on rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The source location is Bangalore HQ, and source metadata identifies the workplace as onsite.
