Role overview
Support and enhance Palo Alto security platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
The role provides exposure to next-generation firewalls, web filtering, SSL decryption, cloud security services, and enterprise security operations.
The position is intended for an early-career security professional developing expertise under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Responsibilities
- Assist with implementation, administration, and support of Palo Alto firewalls, web filtering, and SSL decryption technologies.
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and support daily security operations.
- Work with senior engineers to maintain system stability, performance, and platform currency.
- Participate in firewall policy reviews, connectivity requests, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and cloud teams on network security requirements.
- Support security metrics reporting and dashboard development.
- Help identify risks, participate in remediation, and contribute to technical projects and automation.
- Maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Participate in an off-hours on-call rotation as required.
