Security Engineer - Azure/ M365

We are seeking a Security Engineer based in India with strong hands-on experience securing Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and SaaS environments . This role is ideal for an experienced security professional who enjoys monitoring and responding to security events , improving organizational security posture, supporting ISO 27001 compliance , and collaborating with global teams.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work in the Hyderabad office 3-4 days per week.

As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting, monitoring, and strengthening our cloud and SaaS environments:

Monitor, triage, and respond to security-related events and alerts across our cloud and SaaS environments.

Improve the overall security posture of the organization across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and other SaaS providers .

Administer and tune Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) to strengthen threat detection and response.

Manage identity and access using Microsoft Entra ID , including conditional access and least-privilege practices.

Ensure adherence to and evidence collection required for ISO 27001 certification and ongoing compliance.

Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and baseline configurations.

Track and drive remediation of vulnerabilities and security risks to closure.

Support incident response, investigations, and root-cause analysis.

Partner with US- and India-based stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Operations.

Stay current with emerging security threats, tools, and best practices.

Security certifications such as: Microsoft SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500 CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Implementer

Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing tools.
