Security Control Centre Operator

Duties

• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms and other security systems across UHN sites.
• Receive, assess and dispatch security calls for service.
• Monitor security radio communications and maintain awareness of incidents and security activity.
• Coordinate responses to emergency codes, alarms and calls for assistance under established procedures.
• Provide updates to responding security professionals, security leadership and hospital departments.
• Coordinate with external emergency services when required.
• Maintain records of calls, dispatch activity, alarms, notifications and significant incidents.
• Identify and escalate security concerns, system issues and emerging incidents.
• Support security investigations through CCTV review and system information.
• Perform photo-identification functions and other cross-functional security duties as assigned.
