Core responsibilities

• Monitor fund activity for timeliness and accuracy.
• Serve as Senior Checker for complex tasks and provide backup to the team coordinator or manager.
• Review documents and process subscriptions, contributions, distributions, redemptions, and transfers.
• Ensure transactions are accurately reflected in reporting systems and statements.
• Coordinate with administrators to gather data and execute transactions accurately and on time.
• Work with banking, product, investment, portfolio, reporting, performance, and finance teams.
• Implement new processes, complete ad hoc assignments, and resolve reconciliation breaks.

Risk and controls

• Assess risk in business decisions with consideration for the firm’s reputation and protection of clients and assets.
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies, and ethical business practices.
• Escalate, manage, and report control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in accounting, finance, or a business-related area.
• Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management.
• Knowledge of financial operations and the alternative investments trade cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree, university degree, or equivalent experience.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.
• Project Management certification is preferred.
