Responsibilities
- Issue daily/weekly installation plans and progress feedback to the delivery team
- Brief and enforce Method Statements, Risk Assessments and DSTI schedules
- Track material deliveries with Project Engineers
- Distribute only approved drawings/specifications to site and escalate scope changes
- Maintain accurate site records of constraints, resources, tooling and consumables
- Collect and report staff and labour performance data, KPIs and efficiency metrics
- Promote safe working practices and a zero defect mindset
- Support testing, commissioning, spares and warranty schedules
- Provide regular updates to the Construction Manager on progress, risks and mitigation actions
Requirements
- 5 years+ of experience as a Section Manager, ideally in an MEP or construction engineering environment
- 2–3 years in a senior UAE role with knowledge of local regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or NVQ equivalent) desirable

- As a Section Manager, you will be responsible for managing MEP installation works for an assigned area or discipline.
Your Role
- Issuing daily/weekly installation plans, region/zone/trade allowable, and progress feedback to the delivery team.
- Briefing and enforcing Method Statements, Risk Assessments and DSTI schedules; keeping all documentation current on the project platform.
- Tracking material deliveries with Project Engineers, ensuring items reach central or site stores in time for planned works.
- Distributing only approved drawings/specifications to site and escalate scope changes promptly through Change Management Control.
- Maintaining accurate site records of constraints, resources, tooling and consumables, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors to secure access and deliveries.
- Collecting and reporting staff and labour performance data, KPIs and efficiency metrics each month.
- Promoting safe working practices, a zero defect mindset and adherence to project book guidelines.
- Supporting testing, commissioning, spares and warranty schedules in collaboration with engineering and QA/QC teams.
- Providing regular updates to the Construction Manager on progress, risks and mitigation actions.
- Performing other duties reasonably required to meet project and business objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years+ of experience as a Section Manager, ideally in an MEP or construction engineering environment, including 2–3 years in a senior UAE role with knowledge of local regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage technical requirements, team efficiencies, commercial variables, QA/QC, programme and HSE deliverables.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills; resilient under pressure.
- Data driven reporting skills (e.g., dashboards, Lean metrics) desirable.
- Familiarity with BIM enabled field management tools desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or NVQ equivalent) desirable.
