In your role, you will lead the Materials & Processes Engineering team that supports production activities of the Saint-Laurent manufacturing center. You will work in a dynamic environment, as part of an integrated product development team (IPDT), where you will put in place optimal solutions for major aircraft structure.
Lead a team of engineers that will ensure the required support to the manufacturing of aircraft primary structures, by ensuring understanding and compliance of all the standards that are applicable to Materials and Processes
Plan, oversee, coordinate, and prioritize activities to achieve department quality, schedule, and budget objectives.

Provide technical leadership to all team members to accomplish Program requirements.
Define individual goals and expected results for employees aligned with company objectives.

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or materials engineering from an accredited university.
You have a minimum of ten (10) years of equivalent experience in aerospace.
You have a broad knowledge of all the materials and processes that are used for the manufacturing of major aircraft structures, both made of metallic and composites. You have previous experience with phases of a new Development Program: JCDP, JDP, PDR, CDR, etc.
You are an energetic person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a high sense of commitment, and a willingness to accept responsibilities while acting independently.
You have excellent management skills for influencing others, conflict resolution and problem solving.
You demonstrate leadership, have very good analytical skills, are flexible, have a great sense of initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
You have flexible schedule to support urgent technical issues during evenings, weekends, and winter/summer shutdowns.
You are results oriented, can work under pressure and cope with the sense of urgency.
You have excellent communication skills in French and English (written and oral).
