Responsibilities
- Deliver high quality online science tutoring to secondary school students.
- Teach Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science according to curriculum requirements and individual student needs.
- Design personalised lesson plans and learning strategies tailored to each student.
- Explain scientific concepts using engaging, interactive, and student friendly teaching methods.
- Support students with homework, assignments, coursework, revision, and examination preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Prepare learning resources, practice questions, and assessments where appropriate.
- Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, and the Simone’s Tutoring team.
- Maintain excellent standards of professionalism, punctuality, lesson preparation, and teaching quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field preferred
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring secondary science subjects
- Strong knowledge of secondary science curricula and examination requirements
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Ability to simplify complex scientific concepts for learners of varying abilities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Patient, supportive, and student centred teaching approach
- Reliable high speed internet connection with a professional online teaching setup

Role Overview
- As a Secondary Science Specialist Tutor, you will deliver engaging and effective online science lessons to secondary school students through one to one and small group sessions. You will help students strengthen their understanding of scientific concepts, improve academic performance, and prepare confidently for school assessments and external examinations.

Qualifications & Skills
