Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective English language lessons for primary-aged students
• Support students in reading comprehension, phonics, grammar, vocabulary, creative writing, spelling, and spoken English
• Create individualized lesson plans and learning strategies tailored to each student’s needs and goals
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Encourage a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
• Prepare learning materials, homework tasks, and progress assessments where required
• Communicate professionally with parents/guardians and the Simone’s Tutoring team
• Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and high teaching standards during all tutoring sessions
• Adapt teaching approaches for students with varying learning styles and abilities

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience teaching or tutoring primary school students in English language subjects
• Strong understanding of primary English curriculum standards and language development strategies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to engage young learners in an online learning environment
• Patient, supportive, and student-focused teaching approach
• Reliable internet connection and suitable remote teaching setup

Preferred Qualifications

• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, or equivalent teaching certifications are an advantage
• Experience teaching students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds
