- Cold Lake, Alberta Schedule: 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Rotation, 12-Hour Shifts Compensation: $85.00/hour + 2 weeks' annual vacation + Benefits Employment Type: Employee or Contractor Positions Available: 6
About the Opportunity
WSG is recruiting six Second Class Power Engineers to provide 24/7 operational support for a major industrial facility in Cold Lake. Successful candidates will work within a team supporting safe and reliable plant operations across day and night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boilers, steam systems, and related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and operational checks.
- Respond to operational issues and equipment alarms.
- Complete operating logs and regulatory documentation.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel and operational leadership.
- Participate in shutdowns, startups, and troubleshooting activities.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and environmental standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Second Class Power Engineering Certificate.
- Experience in industrial steam and boiler operations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotational schedule.
Additional Information
Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to Cold Lake.
