Opportunity Overview
Cohere Health is seeking a senior-level automation engineer to improve release quality, environment reliability, and change safety across its platform.
The role shapes automation strategy and quality practices across development, staging, UAT, and production in a healthcare platform.
The role partners with Product, Engineering, Platform, DevOps, SRE, and Security teams.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end automation strategy across UI, API, configuration changes, and critical workflows.
- Design scalable E2E frameworks for multitenant and payer-specific workflows.
- Automate deployment guardrails, release readiness, and production change safety validation.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Create coverage for authorization flows, partner integrations, file pipelines, feature flags, and configuration changes.
- Reduce test flakiness and improve failure signals.
- Define quality gates for production releases, blue-green and canary deployments, and configuration changes.
- Make business outcomes testable, measurable, and observable with Product and Engineering.
- Improve test data management and environment stability.
- Mentor engineers on testability and automation best practices.
- Partner with SRE and Security on production readiness, observability, and compliance.
