Service New Brunswick (SNB) is seeking an individual with Scrum Master expertise to join the Technology Services Division in the Digital Solution Services unit.
The Scrum Master will join a new Agile team being established to support a strategic approach based on a common framework for portable, verifiable, and user-controlled credentials.
Reporting to a Product Owner (PO), the Scrum Master acts as a servant leader and coach who helps the Agile team adhere to SAFe practices, eliminate impediments, and maintain a high-performing environment.
They work closely with the Product Owner and the rest of the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure smooth value delivery.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience including five (5) as a Scrum Master or Senior Project Manager.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: This position may require some travelling within the province therefore candidates must possess a valid New Brunswick driver’s license.
This position may require limited flexibility in working hours, with occasional weekday evening or weekend work.
Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment.
