Role Description
The engineer works across multiple areas of the bank’s IT platform and infrastructure, including analysis, development, and administration.
The role requires a seasoned software engineer who can translate requirements into technical solutions and contribute to code reviews and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy microservices using Java full-stack technology stacks.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Promote best practices and standards, drive code reviews and coding standards, and mentor junior team members.
- Use SDLC and Agile practices to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Leverage AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
- Five to nine years of hands-on Java development experience with Spring Boot, multithreading, and RESTful APIs.
- Strong front-end experience with Angular and React.
- Experience tuning and optimizing large applications, including Oracle databases.
- Experience with JUnit, automated testing tools, and unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with Docker, OpenShift, or Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
