Job Description

  • Extensive experience in analyzing, developing SAP S/4HANA . Strong development experience with HANA, CDS, ABAP 7.5, AMDP, ABAP classical, Interactive, ALV Report programming, Data Dictionary, Adobe Forms, Fiori elements
  • Hands-on with
  • upgrade-safe APIs
  • (released CDS views, OData V2/V4, BAPIs, SOAP/REST APIs) following SAP whitelisting guidelines
  • Strong experience in

Sap Clean Core Principles

  • Perform

Custom Code Adaptation

  • and
  • ATC checks
  • for Clean Core compliance during ECC → S/4HANA conversion and upgrades
  • Experience in Finance module
  • Build custom functionality using
  • side-by-side extensions
  • (CAP, RAP, ABAP Environment) instead of classic in-app modifications.
  • Worked in at least 3 end to end S/4HANA private cloud implementations
  • Strong technical architecture and design experience with S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform/BTP, CloudFoundry and other technologies
  • Hands on experience in technologies like Rest API , OData services, Nodejs and other JS tools.
  • Ability to integrate solutions with both SAP and non-SAP technology stacks
  • Experienced in using various modularization techniques like subroutines, Function modules, RFCs and class modules.
  • Experienced in ABAP/4 Interfaces development, Data Conversions, BDC, Enhancements, User Exits.
  • Expertise in performance analysis and tuning using various debugging tools like run time analysis and SQL trace.
  • Should be experienced on ABAP Object oriented programming.
  • Experienced in using SAP tools like Debugging and Runtime Analysis.
  • Should have experience on ALE/IDOCs and configurations and IDOC interfaces using jobs and event management.
  • Good Experience using ABAP/4 Workbench Tools, reporting, customization, conversion and data extraction.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills with strong analytical, problem solving and decision making capability
  • Good Understanding of both business processes and technical development
  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Develop integration objects based CDS and oData
  • Migrate existing code base to clean core
  • Incubate new technologies, create capabilities, offerings
  • Can anchor and come with solutions for complex requirements.
  • Accountable that solution design meets platform architecture. Provide feedback to architecture community on architecture and design.
  • Accountable that deliverables meet requirements w.r.t. reliability, availability, manageability, performance, and security and compliance.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience in SAP DevOps, Custom Joule development, BPA
  • Design Thinking experience
  • Contributor to SAP Community blogs, SCN
