Role Overview
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized facility in compliance with company standards, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Production Practices (GPPs), and applicable health and safety regulations. Position Summary
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized facility in compliance with company standards, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Production Practices (GPPs), and applicable health and safety regulations. This role supports both production sanitation activities and general custodial duties throughout the facility, including cleaning, disinfecting, and waste management. The successful candidate plays a key role in protecting product quality, food safety, employee health, and overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- · Ensure compliance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs), Good Production Practices (GPPs), and all food safety requirements.
- · Collect, handle, and dispose of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company procedures
- · Complete sanitation activities according to established schedules and maintain accurate records and documentation.
- · Identify sanitation, housekeeping, or facility-related concerns and promptly report them to the Sanitation Shift Lead or Supervisor.
