Responsibilities
- Independently execute sanitation protocols for production equipment, machinery, and facility areas
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment in accordance with SOPs
- Accurately mix and use sanitation chemicals according to safety and usage guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections and identify sanitation issues or maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate cleaning logs, checklists, and sanitation documentation
- Escalate equipment malfunctions or deviations from cleaning standards
- Support compliance with all regulatory standards including GMP, FDA, and OSHA
- Assist with training and onboarding of Sanitation Technician I team members
- Provide input to improve sanitation procedures and workflows
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 2 years of sanitation experience in a food, beverage, or manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and equipment handling
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
- Physically able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Physically able to work in wet or humid environments and around cleaning chemicals

Job Description
- As a Sanitation Technician II, you will be responsible for independently performing routine and complex sanitation tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our production environment.
- You will follow established procedures, mentor junior team members, and help maintain compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- This is a full time, 2nd shift position. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 2pm to 10:30pm.

Qualifications
