- Prepare a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches according to recipes and presentation standards
- Create, prepare, and maintain high quality sauces, dressings, spreads, and sandwich fillings
- Develop new sandwich recipes and contribute creative ideas for menu expansion
- Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation across all products
- Prepare and organize ingredients following food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory requirements to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations and timely service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sandwich Chef, Cold Kitchen Chef, Garde Manger Chef, or similar role is required
- Strong knowledge of sandwich preparation techniques, ingredient combinations, and food presentation
- Proven experience in preparing a variety of sauces, dressings, and spreads from scratch
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- English language proficiency

Position Overview
- PIATTINO CAFE is seeking a skilled and creative Sandwich Chef (Cold Kitchen Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in preparing premium sandwiches, developing and executing signature sauces, and maintaining high food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of hot and cold sandwiches according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Create, prepare, and maintain high quality sauces, dressings, spreads, and sandwich fillings.
