Sand Operations Developee (Qatari National) (880)

In this interesting role, you will be working in our Sand Operations Division , supporting day‑to‑day sand and washed sand production activities across Al‑Awalia sites.

The Sand Operations Developee role is designed for Qatari Nationals to support sand and washed sand operations while developing technical, operational, and site coordination capabilities through structured on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and national development initiatives in line with Qatarization objectives.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Adherence to quality, health & safety, environmental, information security, and business continuity policies and procedures.

Support daily operations of sand and washed sand plants to ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted production.

Assist in monitoring production activities, equipment performance, and material flow to support output targets and quality requirements.

Support coordination of weighbridge, site, and operational activities to ensure accurate production, dispatch, and reporting records.

Liaise with customers, suppliers, and contractors at site level to ensure compliance with Al‑Awalia operational and safety standards.

Coordinate with head office departments and other operational sites to support technical, operational, and logistical requirements.

Assist in identifying operational challenges and support the implementation of improvement actions under supervision.

Prepare and maintain operational reports, logs, and basic performance data related to plant and site activities.

Support site inspections, audits, assessments, and compliance monitoring activities as required.

Coordinate with site staff and operators to ensure adherence to operational instructions and safety procedures.

Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work culture at site level.

Participate in training, mentoring, and development programs as part of Qatarization and national talent development initiatives.

Perform any other ad‑hoc duties relevant to the role as assigned by the Sand Operations Senior Manager in line with business requirements.

For you to be successful you will need to have the following:

Qatari National / Child of Qatari Mother

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related discipline) is preferred.

0–3 years of relevant experience in operations, plant, or site environments is preferred. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply!

Good command of English and Arabic .

Proficiency in MS Office applications .

Basic understanding of sand, aggregates, and construction material operations .

Awareness of site operations, production processes, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Willingness to learn, develop, and grow within operational and plant‑based environments.

Strong teamwork, proactive mindset, and dedication to achieving operational goals.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and responsibility.
