Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Salesforce Developer, where you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable Salesforce solutions that support critical business processes.
This is a hands-on development role for someone who can work independently, understand business requirements, translate them into effective technical solutions, and take ownership of delivery from design through implementation and production support.
The successful candidate will also be expected to provide technical guidance to other developers, contribute to solution design discussions, review technical implementations, and help drive development best practices across the team.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce administrators, architects, integration teams, QA, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform.

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other platform capabilities.
Work independently on complex enhancements and development requirements with minimal supervision.
Translate functional and business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
Lead technical discussions and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development standards and best practices.
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration patterns.
Support data migration, data quality, and large data volume activities where required.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, integration failures, and complex Salesforce platform problems.
Participate in solution design, impact analysis, estimation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing coverage.
Contribute to release management and CI/CD processes across Salesforce environments.
Maintain clear technical documentation for developed solutions, integrations, and configurations.

Experience with Oracle CPQ is an advantage.
Experience with enterprise integrations and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft is a plus.
Experience with large-scale Salesforce implementations and complex multi-system environments is preferred.
Knowledge of Salesforce security, authentication, SSO, OAuth, and integration security concepts is desirable.
Experience working with geographically distributed global teams is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of complex requirements, asking the right technical and business questions, proposing practical solutions, and delivering high-quality implementations with minimal supervision.
This role is best suited for someone who continues to be actively involved in Salesforce development while also demonstrating the maturity and experience required to lead technical discussions and mentor other team members.
