Duties

  • Greeting customers who enter the shop.
  • Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for.
  • Stocking shelves with merchandise when needed.
  • Recommend, select and help locate the right merchandise.
  • Answering queries from customers.
  • Make suggestions and encourage purchase of products.
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor.
  • Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers.
  • Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise and delivery options.
  • Having full knowledge about cash processing and card payments.
  • Dealing with customer refunds when needed.
  • Responsible dealing with customer complaints.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes.
  • Knowledge of sales principles.
  • Relevant product knowledge and training.
  • Experience in a retail, customer service or sales environment.
  • Basic business administration knowledge.
  • Bilingual is a must.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Patience, adaptability, initiative, persuasiveness, stress tolerance, high energy level.
