Sales Operations Analyst in the Commercial Planning department.
The role provides objective information and recommendations to help field sales teams improve efficiency and effectiveness.
The role owns CRM tooling and data quality and supports SKU recommendations, trade spend optimization, account prioritization, and timing decisions.
Location and reporting
- The role is described as hybrid and is listed as Calgary, Alberta or remote.
- The position reports to the Director, Commercial Planning and works with sales, data, IT, portfolio management, and marketing teams.
Key responsibilities
- Own CRM administration, data structure, reporting cadence, system enhancements, and field-team adoption.
- Analyze key account and provincial board data to support sales target setting and variable compensation recommendations.
- Deliver actionable recommendations to Territory Managers and Key Account Managers through briefs and the CRM.
- Design trade spend allocation frameworks and guardrails by account tier and track spend against budget and return.
- Build productivity KPI dashboards covering call coverage, conversion, distribution, and rate of sale.
- Translate field execution data into demand forecasting and S&OP inputs.
