A Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales activities with a proven track record of sales performance and success. Sales Managers are expected to utilize their knowledge to identify, hunt, and qualify leads to uncover new sales opportunities that will lead to new product introductions, qualifications, and POR wins and build lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's product portfolio and its applications.
Identify and engage potential and existing customers through cold calling, networking, industry events, conferences, trade shows, and direct contact.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their primary point of contact and providing high-quality service and support.
Understand customer needs, create tailored business proposals, and demonstrate the value of our solutions.
Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows.
Research and target new customers, develop customer plans, and achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, using product knowledge and expertise to promote and sell the company's products.
Generate leads, qualify prospects, negotiate deals, and close opportunities to drive profitable growth.
Deliver regular and detailed reports on sales outcomes.
Maintain the forecasting system to monitor achievement of sales targets and manage own sales expenses to meet expense budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation, stay updated on industry news and customer information, conduct market research to capture customer needs, and utilize competitive analysis to demonstrate the company's value to prospective customers.
Implement the goals set by senior management and accomplish key corporate objectives.
