Role Overview

  • The Sales Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of key clients within the exhibitions and events sector.
  • The role focuses on driving revenue, building long term client relationships, and delivering tailored sponsorship and exhibition solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high value key accounts with significant contract values.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long term relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the sales cycle and event lifecycle.
  • Achieve and exceed individual revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross selling, renewals, and new business development.
  • Convert prospects into long term clients through effective relationship building and tailored solutions.
  • Adopt a consultative approach to understand client objectives, marketing goals, and business needs.
  • Conduct research to gain insight into client industries, trends, and market challenges.
  • Develop customized partnership proposals aligned with client objectives and event offerings.
  • Proactively identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and new prospects.
  • Attend events and liaise with exhibitors and sponsors onsite.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are delivered and client expectations are met.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in exhibitions, events, sponsorship sales, or B2B account management.
  • Strong track record of managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Commercially driven with a consultative and client focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across departments.
  • Proactive, self motivated, and results oriented.
