Role Overview
The Sales Executive manages sales operations and customer relationships for the Home business.
The role focuses on furniture retail sales, forecasting, customer visits, business development, and securing new and repeat business.
Sales Responsibilities
- Adhere to sales forecasts and strategic plans while monitoring daily sales operations.
- Conduct prospective client checks, negotiations, and competitive sales package design.
- Visit customers to take orders and confirm delivery details and stock levels.
- Develop qualified leads and customer accounts through referrals, email, networking, and sales events.
- Advise customers on product developments and promotions and follow up on enquiries.
- Prepare forecasts and reports covering conversion rates, predicted sales, and business trends.
Order and Account Administration
- Prepare sales documents and support purchase agreements and contracts with the Legal department.
- Maintain sales files and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Coordinate sales order logistics and delivery requirements.
- Conduct applicable customer background checks and support timely receivables collection.
