Overview

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities

• Provide technical support to AM Commercial Operations Team (COT) for new offers when required by the COT.
• Develop retrofit solutions to expand services offer and provide support in troubleshooting.
• Analyze vibration data and other instrument readings to assess rotating equipment condition.
• Assist warranty managers, field service engineers during troubleshooting activities.
• Execute feasibility studies for pump retrofits considering both hydraulic and mechanical aspects of pumps.
• Support Field Service teams during their on-site activities providing technical guidance.
• Support Commissioning Manager/Warranty Manager and field service teams defining solutions and actions to solve customer's technical claim.
• Support Service Center with escalating issue providing technical guidance to complete pump overhaul/maintenance/retrofits.
• Provide feedback on rotating machinery health based on vibration data and other instrument readings.
• Contribute to build best practices to field service Engineer and Service Centers monitoring vibration.
• Contribute actively to development, definitions and specifications of techniques to be implemented in remote condition monitoring systems.
• Help to train Field Service Engineer in basic vibration analysis and/or use of specific tools for condition monitoring.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering, preferably master degree or bachelor degree with relevant experience in rotating equipment.
• Completely autonomous on MS Office software, including complex calculation spreadsheet and Macros.
• PTC Creo, both 3D and 2D.
• FEM packages (PTC Symulate, Xlrotor, Madyn, Ansys) is a plus.
• Software programming for calculation, big data analysis (e.g. Scilab, Matlab, or equivalent) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of centrifugal pumps/rotating machinery.
• Competences in mechanical engineering, 2D drawings comprehension.
