Key skills for this role
This is a rare opportunity to take full ownership of a market we've already proven works. Over the past year we've validated strong demand for Wellio among international schools worldwide - now we need an ambitious SDR to make it their own and drive its next phase of growth.
You'll be based in Melbourne, working alongside our Australian sales team day to day, while receiving dedicated mentorship from our international sales team, led by Holly, who's driven this vertical since day one. As our first full-time rep in this market, every meeting you book and relationship you build is a direct reflection of your impact - with a clear runway to grow the territory as fast as you can run it. You'll also build a genuinely in-demand skillset: crafting sharp, high-converting written outreach that lands with decision-makers across dozens of countries and school systems.
Success here comes with real reward - clear targets and close support to help you hit them. There's also scope for international travel as the territory grows, and should we open a Singapore office over the next year, which we're actively exploring - the potential opportunity to relocate there.
At Wellio, we help schools put wellbeing at the heart of learning. We believe deteriorating youth mental health is one of the most important problems in the world to tackle right now, and we're looking for people to join us on that journey.
Schools are stepping up to tackle this crisis head-on, putting wellbeing lessons into their timetables and making student mental health a priority. But staffing constraints mean these lessons are often delivered by teachers who weren't trained in wellbeing, leaving them feeling unprepared for the concerns and questions that come their way. Meanwhile, schools are trying to hand-roll their own systems to triage students, spot who's struggling, and deliver tailored support, prioritising wellbeing but struggling to solve it with staff who are new to these problems.
Today, Wellio powers programs in nearly 750 schools across 30 countries, and we're growing fast. With the number of schools using Wellio set to double by the end of 2026, we're looking for passionate people to join us.
