Greeting customers within a 5-foot distance in a friendly manner, in accordance with our greeting policy
Assisting customers in finding products and offering product knowledge to enhance their shopping experience
Using our customer service approach – Greet, Qualify, Recommend, and Close – to understand each customer’s project and suggest the right products and any helpful add-ons
Looking up products and prices for customers using our systems and website, including special orders and regular products
Creating special orders and ordering products for customers as required, and following up when their order has arrived
Processing transactions quickly and professionally, including returns and exchanges
Facing shelves and completing minor stock replenishment and shelf cleaning as requested
Staying proactively informed on promotions and product availability
Working collaboratively with teammates to keep the store running smoothly and to support a great customer experience
Completing opening and closing duties
Always working in compliance with WorkSafe standards
No prior retail or building materials experience? No problem – we’re happy to train the right person. Here’s what will set you up for success:

Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Previous customer service or retail experience is an asset
